Tour de Corse
Date: September 7-23, 2016 Place: Corsica, France Website:www.ultracorsica.com Why pay attention: It is a multi-day footrace in the stunning Corisa region, France. The participants will cover 1000kms through 17 stages with an elevation gain of 18,000m. It is going to be the first edition of this ultra-foot race in Corsica.
Tahoe 200
Date: September 9-13, 2016 Place: California, USA Website:www.tahoe200.com Why pay attention: Tahoe 200 endurance run is a 205.5 mile ultra footrace with a single loop of a mountain around Lake Tahoe. With a cut-off time of 100 hours, total elevation gain will be 35,117ft. 140 entrants are allowed and it is a qualifier for the Hardrock 100.

Tour of China
Date: September 9-16, 2016 Place: China Website:www.thetourofchina.com Why pay attention: It is an annual professional road cycling race happening in China since 1995. Held in two parts, the first part of the race is from September 9th and is sanctioned by International Cycling Union (UCI) and is a part of the UCI Asia Tour.
Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal
Date: September 11, 2016 Place: Montreal, Canada Website:www.gpcqm.caWhy pay attention: A part of the UCI World Tour event, the seventh edition of Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal will be conducted in Quebec’s largest city. It is considered a strategic race for the development of elite road biking races in North America.
Skyrunning, Manali
Date: September 11, 2016 Place: Solang Valley, Manali, India Website: skyrun.thehellrace.comWhy pay attention: In order to boost the trail and skyrunning in India, The Hell Race, a series of endurance races in India, has come up with an ultra foot-trail race (30kms and 60kms) set in the Himalayan region of Himachal Pradesh, India. It will be the first edition of its kind in India and will have a total elevation change of about 4000 meters in the 30kms category – double that in the 60kms category.
