Skateistan Film "Learning To Skateboard In A Warzone" Takes Home The Oscar

The remarkable film, Learning to Skateboard in a Warzone (If You're a Girl), took home the Academy Award for best documentary (short subject) last night. The film covers the story of young Afghan girls learning to read, write and of course, skateboard in Kabul as part of the Skateistan program.
