The Outdoor Journal Joins Samantha Gash in her Run India Project

Samantha Gash, running across India for World Vision, will be joined by The Outdoor Journal Brand Ambassador Jonty Rhodes and EagleRider India for a section of her run in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

With the intent to highlight the great Indian outdoors and salute the spirit of sportsmanship, the Outdoor Journal joins ultrarunner Samantha Gash in her Run India Project.

The Australian endurance athlete is running 3800km across the country from Jaisalmer in Rajasthan to Mawsynram in Meghalaya to raise funds for the education of underprivileged children in India.

She is ten days into the 76-day run and has already clocked in over 550km.

TOJ Brand Ambassador Jonty Rhodes will accompany Samantha during her two-day stay in Jaipur on 4th and 5th September - visiting World Vision communities and riding a stretch with her crew on an EagleRider India bike.

Speaking of the association, he said, “It’s great to be a part of Samantha’s epic run! She is doing this for an important cause, she has the will and the tenacity to overcome challenges, plus this is such a unique way to see India! I’m happy to play a part.”
